I realise to some that this may be off topic, but in a way, it isn't. IBS can take over a person's life for years, and although it currently has stopped me from socialising, working and dancing, it hasn't changed me as a person. I still have my views and opinions, my beliefs and scepticism, and my love and admiration for my partner. And despite the limitations, frustrations, hatred and disappointments related to this illness there is still a little light glowing in the darkness. No matter how unworthy you think you are there are others out there that think otherwise.
I hope for all those suffering, despite the difficulties, that you do manage to find a little happiness.
